New Mexico


New Mexico is a state in the Southwestern United States area. It has a mixture of mountainous and hilly land, as well as deserts and valleys. The state is a pretty large one, but with a smaller population than other large states such as Texas. This state experiences very hot summers in the southern portion, with temperatures reaching as high as 115 degrees, winters are mild and jackets are rarely needed. In the northernmost area there is plenty of snow each year, which attracts snowboarders and winter sports enthusiasts from around the world.

Visiting New Mexico is a great opportunity to experience the many world wonders located here. There is White Sands national monument, which is the largest deposit of gypsum anywhere. Its a beautiful white landscape, with the occasional Yucca plant or cactus. Even the animals that live here are white! New Mexico has a vast and diverse wildlife, and surprisingly, you can see them at any time. The wildlife is very curious and interesting to watch through binoculars, or even up close.

Keep in mind that New Mexico is a big state, and you will need to do a lot of traveling to see many of the important sites. The state is very much centered around native american culture, and this reflects on its landmarks and national parks. Gila Cliff Dwellings are also a large part of the landmarks here, and are worth visiting.


New Mexico state is called the Land of Enchantment, and anyone who visits can clearly see why it is called such. Sunrises and Sunsets here are amongst the most breathtaking in the entire world, and are perfect for avid photographers. The area is also great for art enthusiasts, as much of the cities revolve around Southwestern style art forms, and crafts.
