Missouri


The state of Missouri offers an abundance of places to go and things to do. Be assured that this state has something every member of your family is sure to enjoy.

Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy hiking or horseback riding in the Mark Twain National Forest, located in Missouri’s Ozarks. This forest is home to over 530 wildlife species. The lakes and rivers include over one hundred species of fish, and fishing is permitted.

History buffs will be delighted as they visit the Center for Living History Preservation located in Canton. The village has been recreated to represent life as it was in the 1960‘s. The log courthouse located in Independence was built in 1827 and was used by Harry S. Truman. Five-star General Omar Bradley is memorialized in Moberly, where he grew up prior to commanding the allied forces in the invasion of Normandy during World War II.

The state of Missouri includes an abundance of parks and nature centers. Bird watchers will enjoy visiting the World Bird Sanctuary located in Valley Park. The sanctuary is situated on 305 acres and includes displays of hawks, vultures, parrots, falcons, owls, and more.

The entire family will be delighted to visit Branson, where the entire city is full of excitement and entertainment. Branson is a shopper’s paradise with outlet stores, boutiques, and antique shops. There are over 50 performance theatres, a dozen golf courses, a theme park, museums, and a variety of dining options.

St. Louis is the state of Missouri’s largest metro area, and the fourth largest city in the United States. Home to the Cardinals and Rams, sporting events flourish. There are thousands of restaurants to choose from and the riverboat casinos offer fine dining and entertainment.

You cannot go wrong vacationing in the state of Missouri. With so many options of things to do, you are sure to feel rejuvenated at the end of your stay.
